Feels like just yesterday I was diagnosed with my learning disability and ADHD. My dad’s side of the family thought it meant that I was retarded And said I wouldn’t live up to anything, Not finish high school, not get a job, And live at my mom’s for the rest of my life.

Here it is 2019, I’m a successful traveling artist, I got a great job at Starbucks with benefits working with amazing people, I live in my own home, And today I made the Dean’s list.

And every day I’ll keep proving those bitches wrong.
